ph. James Bort
Ambroise Maggiar is a Parisian designer profoundly influenced by Italian design history. His analytic and straightforward style comes from his mammoth experience in designing pieces as wide-ranging as household appliances, treehouses, children's accessories and entire hotels. This flexibility was necessary as Design Manager at both Philippe Starck and Patricia Urquiola, putting to use his extensive knowledge of industrial design and specific personal taste. With his own studio, Maggiar has refined a signature style, combining a playful outlook with clean, classic lines.
